Lacy Warner's writing explores the many currencies of desire, often featuring subjects at the intersection of sex and art.
She holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University and an MA in text and performance from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art/King's College, London.In Fall 2019, she was honored to be a Yaddo resident.
She is currently at work on a book-length project about the photography and lives of Francesca Woodman and Nan Goldin that blends art criticism and memoir in order to examine the power and burden of female pain and desire.
Growing up Lacy was a "third culture kid" and lived in Zimbabwe, Austria, Ireland, Mexico, Kenya, Bolivia and Ethiopia. She now resides on Martha's Vineyard.
