Lacy Warner is a writer, filmmaker and critic who braids together journalism, intimate reportage and personal narrative.
She holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University and an MA in text and performance from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art/King's College, London. In Fall 2019, she was honored to be a Yaddo resident.
She is currently at work on several projects that explore such varied subjects as synchronized swimming, the photographer Francesca Woodman and the complicated histories of professional muses.
Growing up Lacy was a "third culture kid" and lived in Zimbabwe, Austria, Ireland, Mexico, Kenya, Bolivia and Ethiopia. She now resides in Providence, RI.
